bump due to a fall prior to lipo. Do I do the surgery or postpone it until it is healed?
Good day! I would appreciate your scientific expertise in my question. I am 41 years old, 5.9ft tall & 185lbs with concentration of fat in the thighs. Will undergo a full body lipo in two weeks but a few days ago I had a fall and developed a big bump on my left inner thigh with bruises (Album Address: http://www.makemeheal.com/pictures/liposuction/bump-before-lipo-a10597 with password : bump.) For the past 5 days I am under antibiotics prescribed by a pathologist to help reduce the bump..but the swelling persists. I am scared it will not be healed on time. My PS advised that there is no problem as the area won't be affected by the canulas and/or the lasers used & that the bump will heal eventually. But I dont think it is possible to lipo the thigh w/out touching the swollen area and I wonder if I should go ahead with the lipo or postpone it? Thanks in advance for your kind reply!
