Do you recommend cheek implants or fat grafting after fat loss due to IPL on my cheeks and under my eyes?
I got ONE Ipl treatment for a few red veins on my cheek back in September. It got it from a very well known laser specialist in San Diego. Immediatly upon walking out I noticed a long indentation on my right cheek starting at my eye and following my now exposed tear trough. It's December and I am experiencing fat loss.

I find it difficult to imagine the pathophysiological mechanism where one IPL treatment would cause such a deformity. Often, after a procedure, patients are prone to look more intently at the area treated, and usually the changes were there before the treatment. Look at your pre-procedure pictures for comparison.
That being said, I would always opt for stem cell-augmented fat transfer over implants.

Kind regards,
