Is it true that...
regardless if you have a MTT or a FTT, that the skin above the bb will always be loose and can never really be tightened, and there will always be a bump, somewhat like a pot belly in the lower ab. afterwards? Also, the sides and creases will have extra skin especially noticeable when sitting or even slightly hunched over?
Though we do not know your special situation and your body built. ALL THE POSTULATIONS you mentioned is false.

To answer the first question - Yes the Mini TT does not tighten upper abdominal skin, but the Full TT DOES!
As for the lateral skin excess you are correct - very hard to tighten enough from the perfect appearance in the standing position to the sitting = folds. From MIAMI Dr. Darryl J. Blinski, 305 598 0091
MTT has it's specific indications and the most important : no loose skin above the bb. I do a MTT and I do repair the muscle through the limited incision. FTT is for patients who has loos skin above and under the bb and during this procedure the muscle will be repair also. For side and creases with extra skin I do an extended lateral TT (5cm aprox) to give a very nice and smooth waist shape. This will fix the side extra skin when you're sited.
Please feel free if any question. dr. carmina Cardenas.
Depending on the severity and complexity of your case and what you would like to achieve post surgery, a board certified plastic surgeon can recommend which type of tummy tuck you would most benefit from. Please address your concerns during your consultation. Your speculations sound incorrect. If done correctly, your abdominal area should be improved significantly without any loose skin or bumps. A tummy tuck involves tightening and repairing the rectus muscles which have been stretched from pregnancy and removal of any loose or excess skin. Your body type and specific case determine whether you are a better candidate for either a mini, full, or even extended tummy tuck. Take care and good luck!
