Any procedure to correct bad lower bleph
Is there any means to restore my eye shape and size after bad transcutaneous blepharoplasty and if there is, what would they be? I´had surgery 3 1/2 months ago? I might have a slight amount of enopthalmos as well, due to agressive fat removal can it be helped as well?

Now my eyes look so weird that people avoid looking in to my eyes, even my brother. It really hurts me.

Any procedure to correct bad lower bleph?  April 29, 2013 2:12 PM

Hi! Thank you for your question,

I am Dr. Speron, a proud member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). I am also certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Based on your pictures, you can do a revision on the lower eyelids. I highly recommend you to schedule an appointment with your board certified plastic surgeon to go over the best options for you.

Here are some links for additional information and before and after pictures.

Best of luck and have a great day!

Regards,

Dr. Speron

A couple of comments: Thanks for the attached pix. I assume that the picture with glasses are pre-op. Unfortunately, it is not clear enough to see well. Second, we do not use this forum to self promote, so let me just say that it is important for you to seek 2-3 opinions, preferably both plastic surgeons and oculoplastic ones. Your results are NOT bad. Be sure that if additional surgery is done it will not cause more harm than good. And this is from a proud Board Certified member of the Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

revisional eyelid surgery  April 29, 2013 6:23 PM

Hi. I see this problem not uncommonly. You have lower eyelid retraction and distortion. Revisional eyelid surgery is possible (with lower eyelid lift/support with possible inside graft). See myself or an oculoplastic surgeon.
