Does position of the nose cast effect final result?

Hello, it is a week post op BUT my worry was the cast the minute i came home from surgery...I want to ask 7 day long presence of the will be the way nose will end up?
my cast NOT perfectly centered immediately after rhinoplasty! Mine was not! I was soo upset I sobbed entire week the cast set on my nose directing it to one side. Contacted Dr. right as I got home and looked in the morrow. Visibly cast was off cater. My Doctor is sought after, considered accredited, excellent, 5 stars, 14 yrs rhinoplasty and septoplasty specialty experience, etc...His exact wards were: "Please stop panicking because cast does NOT affect the nose I built. Period"
Well, cast was painfully ripped off my cafe I was horrified. NOSE is sideways, my original nose was totally straight I wanted thinner bridge and a bit less meaty tip. Profile is good. But front view is ugly. I hate this. Doctor said it is swelling, we discussed it and there is nothing more to say or do, except wait 6 months to a year. Horrible experience. He assured me he will be precise, as for me shape was is not as important as symmetry. I know nose swells unevenly, I do get it. my CAST thou was totally crooked. What do you think, will my nose straightened up still as time goes, of it was straight my whole life pre op?
