why do some ppl have nasty scars and others have nice ones?

i've been looking at before and after pics and noticed that some ppl have really long, crooked, nasty looking scars. but other ppl have really nice looking scars (as nice as a scar can be) that are smaller and straight. some are higher up than others aswell.

Depends on a few things. The skill of the surgeon is most important as well as the skin type of the person who is healing. Some people have skin that is simply more prone to keloid (more)

The way we HUMANS heal is by scarring. We do not regenerate our skin.
Scars are multifactorial
How the incision treated
where the scar is
How we put it together
our genes, some of us (more)
