Help with recovery

I am just under 4 weeks post deep plane FL and lower Bleph. I dont understand why my eyes are so swollen, itchy and burning. One whole side of my face is much more swollen than the other AND on that side the lower lip isnt working when I laugh or speak. I am miserable . My surgeon is offering little help with this. I asked for prednisone so I am doing that for 5 days, day 2 no reduction in swelling. is there anything i can do to relieve the facial swelling, the burning eyes and the weak lip. I am becoming depressed and will do anything for help. Utrasound? radiofrequency ?
