Wound be gone creates a layer over the wound so that it can still heal and helps to prevent scab/scar formation. It blocks out the bad bugs (bacteria) and decreases swelling, itching and redness.
After the wound closes/seals you can follow up on one of these two scar creams. They will help to blend any scar tissue into the surrounding skin, flatten and lighten the scar tissue.

Kelo-cote Scar Healing & Reduction Gel (15g or 60g) MMH ID: 10066: http://bit.ly/c7VUAx
Both of these scar creams are silicone based. Scar Esthetique has more ingredients in it to help with healing like arnica (for swelling) vitamins and antioxidants.
Kelo-Kote is a silicone only gel that is fast drying. Its great for sensitive skin types since it has less ingredients.
