My breasts have both bottomed out and my ps says he can perform a procedure in which he sutures the pocket to the ribcage. How is the recovery for this type of procedure? Down time from work etc?

You will most likely have to take off of work for one week. You will be a little sore but not nearly as sore as the original breast augmentation. check out this site www.drsenderoff.com (more)
