Can Botox effect a nose job?

Hi had botox injections for the first time 2 weeks ago. Last night I noticed that my where the hump on my nose was removed 2 years ago is swollen and red. There is even a brown spot starting to show there. About the size of a finger tip. The area in tender to the touch. What could this be caused from? I haven't had any problems with my nose.

I have never heard of this. It sounds like you may have an infection, or a rejection of a foreign implant, so I suggest you see your rhinoplasty surgeon right away. (more)

Sounds like an injection site infection. Seek medical care ASAP. (more)

Hi nosey22,

I have never seen an infection after botox and certainly not 2 weeks later. This sounds unrelated and is probably arising from the skin itself (such as from an infected pimple or cyst). If you had a filler placed in or near your nose, call the doctor involved. If you have any type of foreign implant material in your nose, it is important to see your surgeon as soon as possible so that it can be evaluated. Likewise, if you are noticing more swelling, redness, and tenderness, you need to get checked out right away.
All the best,
