Exercise after tummy tuck

I am military. I have a physical fitness test 5.5 weeks after my TT. What can help me speed my muscle strength to be ready for this test that requires elliptical for 12 minutes, push ups, & sit ups?

I had a tummy tuck and some lipo on Jan. 7, 10. I still feel too tight to do abd work. My surgeon said not to do any sit ups for six months!! Actually I don't feel like it anyway!
