Blotching after a 12.5% TCA peel

They are not raised, or blistered, but they are tender to the touch. I am getting very worried that this is not normal. The parts that are blotched are the parts that "frosted". This photo is Day 2 following the 12.5% peel.

Seems you are hypersensitive to this lower dose TCA (12.5%). CALL the doctor ASAP for burn care protocol. From MIAMI Dr. B (more)

It is imperative that you "prime' your skin with glycolic acid peel for at least 2 weeks, before applying this, use neosporin to keep that spot moist!! use no abrasives and wash with a gentle cleanser, it will peel naturally, also before going near sunlight,apply sunscreen, or you will get hyperpigmentation in that area!

@sallyfr777

The scabbing took about 2 weeks to heal, but I had a scar on my face that took about 1 1/2 years to heal and one on my neck that is still there, but very faint. I WILL NEVER try anything like this again by myself. I cried so hard for a while because I thought I had mutilated myself.
