Is is normal to have uneven sized areolas after a breast augumentaion through the areolas?

Exactly a week ago, I had my areolas reduced during my breast augumentation. Now, my one areola ia significantly bigger than the other. One is a nice pie, while the other is oval! The surgeon said that one is swollen, and he measured them perfectly during surgery. What's going on? Am I going to have to reconstruct one areola six months down the road, or is this just a healing process? Will they eventually even out?
