Labiaplasty can be done without parental consent in the U.S. at age 18. Before that, a parent or guardian must sign the consent. I do not know the rules in the U.K. My youngest patient for labia minora plasty was a 12 year old who grew labia that were triple what a normal young lady would grow and this greatly affected her self esteem and ability to perform in sports and be comfortable in certain clothing. As long as the parent consents to the surgery it my my feeling that from puberty on the surgery may be appropriate for a select group of young ladies. By the way, results are beautiful and lifelong even when done this early on in life and will not affect the ability to get pregnant or have a baby.
