This should be evaluated thoroughly . Is there no movement at all at the corner of the mouth or just a weakness. In case it's the latter then full recovery is likely. It may take some (more)

Most of the time it is not permanent. It should not take long.

My mom had a beautiful smile before the surgery! She has white straight teeth. She was smiling all the time and there were no crooked smile. Its upper lip, right site. We noticed this change next day after dr took stitches away Day after day it became worst. Now its unchangeable. But she is very Embarrased of her smile. When she talks it also very noticeable. But when she is still, you cant see. She moves her lips, open her mouth, it just look very weird! very crooked, Her Dr says that he didn t tough the nerve but he also says that it never happened to him before.
