HELP! Some stitches came out, and I have an open wound.

Hello, I've just had penosctotal webbing reduction (turkey neck reduction). A stitch or 2 at the underside base of the penis have come off, leaving the incision a bit open. The ER doctor gave me anti-biotics to take untill I can see the surgeon when he gets back into town this week.
Now it's to my understanding that this wont be re-stitched.
The opening is about 2mm by 6mm.
So my question is, will I have to get sofa rest untill it heals up, How long ( weeks/months) will ti take to do so, and lastly, will it leave an open looking scar???

Help me with some knowledge please!!!
I'm freaking out.

Thank you!

I guess the advise is to allow healing by secondary intention. It will take about 2 weeks to heal. Best of luck from MIAMI Dr. Darryl J. Blinski (more)
