Vertical vs. Horizontal Tummy Tuck
tummy tuck

I have seen two ps and each has given a different opinion. One says I have to have a vertical scar going about 2-3" above my belly button the other says a small fleur d'lis may be required but nothing more than that. I am seeking a 3rd opinion on Wednesday but am not sure why the 1st doctor would need to go so high. I am 5'7, 170 pounds and have a significant belly due to child birth. I have lost over 40 pounds to get to this point and am not sure how a doctor determines what type of cut is required. Any information would be appreciated.
