Can a malar augmentation makes eyes smaller?

I was just wanting to know if a malar augmentation could make the eyes smaller because the zygomatic bone is so close to the eyes. Thanks.

The simple answer is YES. It is an optical illusion. By enlarge the inferior anatomic zone the orbital decrease in width appears. If true measurements are taken there is NO decrease. Seek (more)

I think larger cheeks make the eyes look more deep set; this can be good or bad depending on your face.

Sometimes they can make the lower lid area look more hollowed out by comparison.
