Accolate and Capsular Contracture

8 1.2 weeks ago, I had a breast lift, reduction and 500cc implants under the muscle. I went to the doctor yesterday for a follow-up and was told I have CC in my right breast. The left has dropped and is well. I was told to take 1 20mg Accolate at night, take 1000mg of Vitamin E and massage 5-6 times a day. I will need to get a lipid test in 3 weeks to check my liver to see if it is tolerating the Accolate. Is there any other things I can do to get the scar tissue to subside? I do not have any pain. Also how do you tell if the implants were put under the muscle? I didn't have any pain after the surgery, which was great! Thanks in advance.

It sounds like your plastic surgeon is doing everything right with the Accolate. Unfortunately, CC is the most common complication of breast implants, even under the best conditions. If (more)
