Is Artefill injected the same way as other fillers?
I am in Latin America. I can't find a surgeon/derm who uses Artefill. They all use the other fillers, but say they can get Artefill for me. My question is...does Artefill behave like Radiesse or other fillers when injected? Should I allow a surgeon with 12 years experience of using Radiesse inject Artefill? I want to do the nasolabial folds, and add some vertical chin length. Thanks!

In the nasolabial folds neither one is a good option as if either filler is injected to close to the skin then you will have granulomas. If you want to get a safer filler either Restylane or Juvederm can give you a nice results, with minimal side effects and the results may last for 9 to 12 months. If you want to get a longer or more projection on the chin for around 18 months and in a safe way, then get Juvederm VOLUMA that is a long lasting filler (less) |
