Are massages really helpful after PS?

I've been told that some Doctors suggest getting massages daily after lipo. however, I've also had friends who never heard of this. Is it really helpful? If so, when? and what type of massage? Thanks so much! :)

For over 5 years I have been offering lymphatic massages as part of the recovery. I believe they are of a REAL benefit. (more)

I also heard that really helps. I wonder how many days in between each massage is recommended? One a week or two a week for the first six weeks?

I am 6 weeks post op and I got a lymphatic massage at 4 weeks. It really helped for a few days, but the swelling came back. If a person could afford weekly massage that would be fabulous
