Prominent eyes, flat cheeks, scleral show, dark circles?

I am 33, female. I had hard palate grafts placed in late 2009 to raise my lower lids to help with chronic dry eyes. I had them removed 5/10/11 b/c they were secreting large amts of mucus discharge (from their salivary glands) & they were replaced with tarSys (porcine) grafts. In the 3 wks since surgery my lids have dropped to almost as low as they were before initial surgery. I want this fixed for medical & cosmetic reasons. I think my problem is lack of support below my eyes & want to discuss orbital rim implants. My surgeon is out of the country until end of June so obviously I'll ask him then but I'm trying to get as educated as possible before then. From what I've said do you think orbital rim implants may help raise my lids & fill out the shadow created by my prominent eyes?
