Denting under eye after fillers, twice.. WHY?
I always had "tired" under eyes that got worse with weight loss and age. I am 27 and I have had them filled a few times in the last year and a half ... now and here is a basic run-down
#1 Doctor A - filled with restalyne (I think) My right undereye bruised badly, and the injection seemed to wear off after 2 months or less!
#2 Doctor B - Used Juvaderm Ultra, eyes came out great, no bruising, lasted almost 8 months or more before...
After 10 months The filler was starting to really wear off and I noticed a dent/spot under my right eye area. One eye still looked nice just needed a touch up, the other had this dent that even my friends started to notice... so I thought maybe it had been long enough and the filler was just breaking down uneven. I was in the middle of moving to another state so I could not return to Doctor B.
#3 Doctor C. Showed him the dent and he said it was a bad injection (I did not have any issues for so long though..)and dissolved the Juvaderm with an injection before putting more juvaderm in at my request a week later after everything was dissolved. He wanted to put sculptra.. but I can not afford the investment for that at this time, plus I was moving to asia and would be unable to follow up with him.
A week after I visited him for a check and I had noticed the dent was back. I brought it up and he said I was being picky, fillers are not a perfect solution, it looked great etc. I hoped maybe it would go away with time, but its been 6 months and its still there and all I see. It cant be covered up with makeup, plumped with lotions, etc and is always just there.
My fillers are starting to wear off now and I am getting the sleepy look (faster it seems vs last time) and I really want to get them done again plus have this dent addressed again... or corrected, but now I am so scared because its happened two times to me now. Whats going on??? I used to be so happy with this treatment.
To make matters even trickier I moved from California to Seoul, South Korea and I am here for the next three years... so I am worried that they may not be able to help me with this denting issue since this is more of a Caucasian issue. I want some sort of idea before I see a doctor here for fillers so I dont go in blindly and follow what they say in case its wrong for my situation.... I'm really confused and any thoughts would be very appreciated. I feel like I may be doomed to having sleepy eyes or a dented eye now...
