Hi StctT
Congratulations on the 100lb wt loss!
Unfortunately, loose skin is the price you pay for weight loss of even liposuction. They both do the same thing to your skin. In either case, your skin is tight when you are over weight and sometimes stretched beyond it's capacity. When you lose weight or when you have liposuction, your skin is deflated and usually droops. The weight loss is a great thing for your health and self esteem. The loose skin can be fixed, but the trade off is scars. I would recommend that when you reach your goal weight undergo whatever skin tightening procedure is necessary for your loose skin as well as liposuction to remove any residual pockets of fat that didn't go away, tightening that skin at the same time. There unfortunately is always a "trade". Getting rid of loose skin always leaves scars. But I think it's a good trade. It's much easier to hide the scars that it is to hide the bulge or all of the loose skin.
Good Luck!
