The cartilage graft makes my columella appear too "pointy" when I smile. Will it become more natural as the swelling goes down?

Hi, my ps placed cartilage into my columella and tip in order to add projection. But my columella is so hard and stiff right now that when I smile, my alar sidewalls pull back, making my columella appear too "pointy." It also prevents me from stretching my upper lip out into a full smile. When the cartilage softens and the swelling goes down, will my columella become less conspicuous and more natural when I smile?

First the cartilage will not soften, the tissue around it will as swelling goes away. I think that it could go either way, so you just need to be patient for now.
