Should I Get A Scar Revision?
tummy tuck

I'm 14 months post tummy tuck. Thinking about having a scar revision done to the area below my belly button to incision line where there is a large stretch mark and loose skin. The procedure would be done in office under a local anesthetic. My dr would have to reopen my orginal scar a bit to make things match up with the vertical scar. He is also checking to make sure my permanent suture knot is not infected. If it is he will have to take it out and replace with something else. What can I expect with a scar revision? What is the recovery like? Will the results be worth it? If the suture knot has to come out will this affect my results? Thank you

What is a suture knot in your case? and why should it be infected if it has not gotten infected so far.
Get a second opinion in person, it may be well worth a consultation fee.
