I am 4 wks status post binelli mastopexy. My physician states he uses absorbable sutures under & OVER the skin too. when do I remove the steri strips

I am 4 wks status post binelli mastopexy. My physician states he uses absorb sutures both underneath and over the skin. I am worried that if I keep them on too long the sutures wont dissolve quickly and leave a scar, but when I try to pull them off, I see the sutures and am scared to pull off the strips or I will be tugging at the skin and and make a bigger scar. I am really worried, your help is greatly appreciated
