what can i do for my upper lip?
Artecoll

I had artecoll injected in my lip over 15 years ago and subsequent granulomas removed .Unfortunately the doctor cut 3 times in the same spot in the middle of my upper lip just beyond the wet/dry border resulting in a small scar. Following this he injected fillers to attempt to create more volume in the holes created. Fillers only want to migrate from the left side to above my lip and is incredibly painful. This is where most of the artecoll removal thinned my lip. Then he tried evolence which seemed to grow exponentially in me causing the right side, which had more lip tissue left after the surgery to get larger than the left. Over the next few years i had several attempts to decrease the volume in the right side by injecting kenalog 10% into the underside but never with lasting result. Basically the right side of my lip has a pouchy area agaisnt my teeth and hangs lower than the left. I went to a doctor 3 years ago and he suggested making the left look like the right but we tried and believe i have scar fibers which don't allow portions of the surface to expand so it migrates. Can i get a "tummy tuck" done on the inside of my right lip? Can the surface adhesions on the left be released? Should i continue to try and build the left with tiny amounts of filler? He also suggested lip shortening surgery to show more of my teeth which i would like . Do you have an opinion or can suggest doctors with whom i can consult that would have the expertise to deal with this situation?

You pictures are helpful as is your history. However, palpation would help to ascertain the underlying fullness of the left side. Obviously there is a volume discrepancy between the two (more)

First of all Artecoll and Evolence are not supposed to ever be injected in to the lips. You don't need a lip lift. I would find a doctor who would be willing to deal with a patient who (more)
