Thigh lift scar revision? I had thigh lift 16 months ago. I had stitches broke and I was wondering if revision will help with how scars look.

I discussed with my doctor what I want to be done, and he offered to make scar a little longer toward hips. I really don't know if that even helped. I wanted to get rid of cellulite above knees, and when i lifted skin with fingers that's what it looked like, cellulite was gone. Now after surgery a months later I haven't back. My doctor told me that the most area effected by surgery was inner upper thigh, then why to make scar longer then if the reason for that was to give a lifet to the whole leg?
Also my stitches broke in between my things, and on one leg it looks really ugly. It's visible even when I wear my shorts like bottom, I always have to check to be sure the scar is not visible. Also my scars are not that thin as they were after surgery, and they are still pink/ purple somewhat. In some areas they look real goo, turned white and hardly visible, but mostly pink/ purple color. I was asking my doctor for revision, but he doesn't seem to be very agreeable about it. I have an impression that he doesn't think revision will help that much. Just want to hear another opinion Thank you.
