What is the best course of action with a post surgery haematoma on my neck?
Facelift

I had a neck lift and mini face lift 13 days ago but my left hand side bruised badly and I have developed a large haematoma on my neck. I don't know whether to leave it to reabsorb into the body naturally or put myself through surgery again to have it drained. I am concerned that if left untreated it may cause damage to my skin then my neck lift would have been a waste of time. I would welcome any advice as I am really upset about this and my after care has been almost non existent.

That is what I suspected!!! Call any local plastic surgeon And offer to pay for treatment. Treatment would be reoperation and drainage of the hematoma. I would charge you from $5,000. Good (more)

I researched before hand and opted to have surgery in Belgium after excellent reviews and recommendations. Consultations were done in Britain and I had no reason to suspect that there would be a lack of concern or after care.

Thankfully in Britain we have the National Health Service who have very kindly treated me this evening with no charge.

My surgeon lives in another country and has not responded to my email or made any attempt with my after care.
