what should I do?

had f/l neck lift and chin implant removal, 5 yrs ago. Recently sutures appeared breaking through skin in front of left ear and under left ear. A local doc here pulled them out for me, but the one under the ear almost made me faint from the pain, since then, my neck and throat is very uncomfortable as if something happened in the platysma muscle but the side that he pulled it from does not hurt, the other side under the right ear to the center of my throat feels like there is something in there and gets tight and sometimes I feel a "pop" It almost at times feels like it's infected, I don't think I can live with this forever. The original doctor that did the surgery is no longer in practice so I don't know what to do at this point. The doctor that pulled the suture said he has no idea what it could be........
