Mottled skin appearance and mottled skin texture after CO2 laser resurfacing and face lift. What can I do to improve this?

A week ago, I had a face lift and CO2 laser skin resurfacing of the face and possibly neck. Now, my skin looks and feels mottled. What can cause this? Will it heal/go away? What can be done to improve this?
