What can be done to improve mottled looking and mottled textured skin after CO2 laser skin resurfacing and a face lift?

A wek ago I had a face lift and CO2 skin resurfacing of my face. Now the skin on my face appears mottled and has a mottled texure. Is this normal? Have you ever seen this occur? What can I do to improve this skin? Please help!
