surgical scar got sunburned! how to remove the sunburn but not the scar?
ive had surgery on my face to remove birthmarks and have used mederma spf scar cream with sunblock already in it. its this one, http://mederma.com/products/scar-cream-spf i had a tiny birthmark removed from my right cheek and didnt use this cream because here in el salvador its not sold! i bought it while visiting the u.s. now i have a tiny sunburned dot/area on that area where the surgery took place and it hasnt gone away! i went to see a dermatologist here in el salvador and he told me to use desonide since i got sunburned but it didnt work! i went to see him again and now he wants me to use just regular sunblocker but how is this gonna make the redness go away????? what can be done in my case???????????????? can a dermatologist or someone in the same boat as me give me a second opinion. thank you. :D
