I had laparoscopy surgery (in 2014) for a dermoid cyst on my ovary. I am currently 30 years old. I have no kids, and no other surgeries or history of issues with my lower abdomen. I am very healthy, exercise regularly, and eat very healthy. It has been 2 or 3 years since the surgery. Since then, I have noticed a substantial difference in the volume of my lower abdomen (bloating, swelling). It is so extreme sometimes that I look like I could be 3-4 months pregnant. I've went to numerous doctors, and had numerous tests taken. I've had ultrasounds, and MRI's done, and no one can seem to explain why my lower abdomen is so bloated. Every doctor says that I no longer have cysts and that my ovaries look normal, as well as the rest of my organs surrounding them. I am still confused and left with no explanations. I sometimes experience pain and spotting. Sometimes I have episodes of pretty substantial pain that hurts when I walk or run, which can last days or weeks.
What could these side effects be caused by and how can I resolve it? The only tests I have not had done were for my gastrointestinal tract.
Could my symptoms be unrelated to the surgery? Could the surgeon have caused damage to any organs during the surgery? Or is it something else completely? I am eager to hear some feedback as to what this may be.

Thank you so much in advance for your time. My health is so important to me.
