You Can Instant Message
You can use instant messages (text) to chat in the classic way that other chats work.
You Can Use Your Webcam & Microphone/Headset To Chat
Our state-of-the-art plastic surgery chats enable you to have full video and audio enabled chats using your webcam and to speak with your microphone/headset. This is not required if you want to do simple instant messages in text.
You Can Call In To The Chat Using Your Phone
If you're not by a computer and want to listen to the online show by telephone or ask questions, simply call in the telephone number of the show and listen to it (you only pay your regular long-distance charges that your phone company charges you). The telephone number is found on the top right of the screen of the chat show.
Make Me Heal Chat Rooms & User-Created Chats
We have created specific plastic surgery chat rooms that will always be active regardless of whether there are any member inside the chat room. If you wish to create your own chat room, you can do so as well and be able to have it remain active as long as there is at least one person inside the chat room. The chat will end once there are no users participating.
How Do I Get On The Chat Rooms?
Getting into the chat rooms is very easy, as all you need to do is log in the login box at the top of this page. You can enter the chat room in two ways:
Entering Chat As A Member. By creating an account, you will be able to put up your photo and save your settings. Sign up for an account by clicking on the “ Sign Up ” link on the top of the login box at the top of this page. Once you click on the link, this will open a pop-up window. If your browser blocks pop-up windows, you must enable pop-up windows to allow pop-ups for the site www.makemeheal.com and www.userplane.com (you can typically change these settings on your browser under the Tools menu and internet options in your browser). Once you sign up, return to this page (http://www.makemeheal.com/chats) and login. Be sure to check the box for “Use My Userplane ID”, which will open a window to enter the password you selected for your account.
Entering Chat As A Guest. The second way to enter the chat is simply to come in as a guest and just type a nickname for the chat session and just login. Simply, enter a nickname in the box and click Login. Do not check the box for “Use My Userplane ID” when entering as a guest. When you come as a guest, your settings are not saved after you leave the chat room.
How Do I Find A Chat Room For A Specific Procedure?
To provide you the best experience, we created various chat rooms. When you first enter the Make Me Heal Plastic Surgery Chats, you will first go into the general Lobby. On the top left side of the screen, you will see a list of chat rooms under the ROOMS window. Simply click on the title of the chat that interests you, which will then collapse open a menu in which you will see a button “JOIN”. Click on the Join button to join the chat that interests you.
How Do I Create My Own Chat Room?
If you wish to create your own chat room, you can do so as well and be able to have it remain active as long as there is at least one person inside the chat room. The chat will end once there are no users participating. To create a chat, simply click on the "New Room" button which is found on the top left side of the screen.
How Do I Instant Message A Member?
To instant message a member simply go to the room in which the member is in and click on the member's username of the person whom you wish to instant message. This will then fill the window on the bottom left of the screen with the user's information. You will click on the "IM" button to initiate an instant message conversation. The instant message conversation must be accepted by the other member to actually start.
How Do I Use My Microphone and/or WebCam on the Chats?
The Make Me Heal Plastic Surgery Chats allow you to use your microphone to speak and a webcam. You are free to use both or just one. To enable using your microphone, you need to click on the "A" button found on the bottom of the computer screen under the ME window. To enable using your webcam, you need to click on the "V" button of the chat screen under the ME window.
You will be able to see other members who use a webcam or microphone, as they will have a special icon saying A and V next to their username. If you wish to speak to someone or see them, simply go to the room in which the member is in and click on the member's username. This will then fill the window on the bottom left of the screen with the user's information. You will click on the "A" button in this window to allow the other member to speak to you. You will click on the "V" button in this window to see the member.
