How does Prosonic Work?

SONIC technology and cleansing has been successfully used for years with toothbrushes. Now, you can experience cleaner, softer, and younger looking skin every day with the Prosonic skin cleansing system. Oscillating brush bristles (300 oscillations per second) not only deep clean your skin and remove impurities, they also exfoliate and perform a micro massage of the skin to unclog pores, remove dirt, and increase the micro-circulation. Prosonic helps remove dead skin cells, fine lines and wrinkles while promoting healthy skin cell growth. Prosonic was developed by A. Hawrych, MD, a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

Instructions for Use:

Prior to the first use, charge the brush handle for 24 hours by putting it into the cradle. Turn Prosonic Face Brush on by pushing the larger of the 2 buttons. To choose the speed, push the smaller button and select. Remove eye makeup by hand. Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head and wet your skin. Push the on/off button to turn your Face Brush on and gently move the brush over your face and neck area using a small circular motion. 

Begin on the forehead, then move to the nose/chin area and the cheeks, then to the neck area. Do not press the brush too hard against the skin as this will reduce the effectiveness of the brush. The Prosonic brush is waterproof and may be used in the shower or bathtub. Do not submerge the charger cradle in water (for more information, see Important Cautions and Warnings in Prosonic manual).

Speed Setting & Brush Types

When you press the power button to turn the unit ON, the initial start-up speed (Speed One) is for sensitive skin (on the device, the bottom light will be turned on). To adjust to Speed Two for normal skin, press the small button on the device once (once you do so, the second to bottom light will be turned on).  Press the small button again to advance the unit to Speed Three, the Jitter Mode for Microdermabrasion and exfoliation. Press the small button again to advance the unit to Speed Four for the Body (on the device, the top light will be on)

To turn the unit off press the button one more time

• Speed One: for Sensitive skin (this is the unit’s initial start-up speed when the bottom light on the device is turned on).
• Speed Two: For Normal skin (second to bottom light is on).
• Speed Three: For Jitter Mode (Can be used daily for skin exfoliation, or with the skin polish cream –sold separately—for a profession-grade Microdermabrasion.).  Second from top light is on.
• Speed Four: Body Brush (the top light of the device is on).

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE CLEANSER WITH THE PROSONIC FACE BRUSH
Moisten your face and apply sufficient cleanser on the face. Also apply some cleanser on the wet brush. Turn the brush on and select the desired oscillation frequency.  Move the brush in a slow circular motion around your face. Do not apply any pressure with the brush against the skin. Let the oscillation do the cleaning. When finished, rinse with water and dry your skin with a towel.

Replacing Your Prosonic Brush Heads

We recommend that the Prosonic Brush Heads be replaced every 3 to 4 months as the bristles become fatigued and less effective over time. After use, remove the brush head from the handle and rinse with warm soapy water to remove any residue.

To take the brush OFF, just twist the brush counter-clockwise and pull. To put the brush on, alightly push and turn the brush clock-wise until you feel resistance, then turn clockwise to lock in place.

How To Care for Your Prosonic

Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals to clean any part of the Prosonic. Do not put any part in a dishwasher. Wipe or wash the handle using warm soapy water to remove any residue buildup. The handle is sealed and fully waterproof. Never try to open the brush handle for any reason.

What is the recommended amount of time for Prosonic face and Body application?

One to two minutes on the face and body. Intense body cleansing and massage benefits can vary by each individual use.

The Prosonic seems rough on my face. Should I apply pressure when using it?

No. Do not apply pressure to your face when using Prosonic. Turn the unit on, touch the brush to your face, and let the unit do the work.

Why does my skin seem to need more moisturizer since I've been using the unit?

Your skin is experiencing better exfoliation and is more thoroughly absorbing moisturizer.

Why does my skin looked flush after use?

Prosonic is an invigorating cleanse, which may give your skin a temporary rosy glow.

Why does my Prosonic not hold a charge?

Improper charging. To charge, place the unit on the charger with the brush head facing the cord outlet of the charger. The red light above the button on the front of the unit will blink when the unit is correctly in place and charging. Once charge is complete, the light will stop blinking and remain steady. If you do not place the unit on the charging station correctly, your unit will not charge.

Why does my unit randomly turn on and off during use?

Your unit is not sufficiently charged.  

How often should I charge my unit?

We recommend charging your Prosonic once a week, but charging needs vary based on individual use. When your unit is fully charged, unplug the charger to store it.

Warranty

There is 12 month warranty from the date of purchase for all mechanical defects. Replacement part is shipped free as soon as we have received and evaluated the defective returned parts.
