I had my breast done at Premiere center with Dr Stern and wanted everyone to know about my experience. My original breast size was A and I wanted to go just little larger to look more proportional and natural. When I came to the consultation he showed me implants and suggested C. When I saw the C implant I thought I was really big and told him so. Then he said oh girls that get smaller ones come back again and get bigger ones so I think this is the best one for you. I didn't know how they would actually look when I have them done so I thought ok I guess he knows better then I do. So I decided to go with C.

My surgery went ok but the first time I saw my breast I thought they were too big for me and I told him so. He said oh they are still swollen they will get smaller once the swelling goes down. Of course this did not happen and I was stuck with big boobs. Once my breast started healing I noticed my left nipple was shifted away and my boobs were not even (my real breast were very symmetric). I would go to him and tell him this but he would measure them and tell me oh they are proportional. HE WOULD LIE RIGHT IN MY FACE AND TELL ME HOW THEY ARE SYMMETRIC when I could clearly see how they are way off!
Shortly after this I started feeling pressure on my left side and the whole breast started getting super firm and moving up. The right breast was way down comparing to the left one. When pain started getting too severe I went back to him and he told me how I had capsular contraction and he would have to re-do my left side. So I paid around half the price or original breast aug. and had that left side fixed. My boyfriend waited on me during the procedure and he told me how the nurse said how it will last little longer because I was loosing blood. After my procedure I went home and vomited for 4 days and was very sick.

After 2 weeks I could notice that my breast did not look any better and even worse it was going up again and that capsular contraction was still happening!!! I was so frustrated I went to him and yelled and he told me he will have it re-done for free.

So I went in again to have my left side fixed and he said how he worked hard on fixing it and put extra stitches in but that 3rd time I was bleeding so much at home around my breast that on the 3rd day I had to go back in and have fluids and blood drained because my breast swelled up to size D.

Of course capsular contraction started happening again and I decided not to go back to him. Now I am broke and stuck with one breast higher then the other one and even worse the pocket on the right side opened so now I have my right breast sinking down and left one moving up. It's very painful but I don't have money to fix this, another Dr I went to asked for 13 thousand to have them done smaller and close open pocket and remove scarring tissue on left side. I guess I will deal with pain and hide until one day I can afford to fix this.

First Consult - WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!, August 7, 2008, 7:34 pm
Reviewer: gatorgirl_007

WARNING!!! For those of you in Tampa, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO PREMIERE SURGERY CENTER with Dr. Herbert Stern.

I had to type in I had a procedure even though I would not waste my time after the experience I had, but want EVERYONE to know how HORRIBLE it was.

Today was my very first consult and it was with him. I walked in and let them know this was my very first consult. I brought in pre-filled out paperwork and they kind of rolled their eyes at me having a huge list of questions. So I was 10 minutes late, but had the courtesy to call to let them know I was behind.

I get there - they put my chart together and tell me he is finishing up a consult. No problem, my husband had not arrived yet. 40 minutes later I ask how long he is going to be and was told he was almost done. I meet with patient coordinator and she looks at me because I had a folder with a copy of my documents and a list of questions. She says, "i need your chart!" I said this is my documentation, are you telling me you lost my chart in the last 5 minutes?" I said you can look at my copy, but I will need it back. She answers about 2 minutes worth of my questions and when I asked when he was board certified her response, "isn't on the information we gave you?" I replied by saying, "it says he is a member of the society of PS since 1981, but nothing about when he was board certified." She rolled her eyes at me and said, "How should i know - He has been doing this for over 30 years so i am sure it is the same time." you are going to have to ask your questions to the doctor. She took me into a room with my husband (oh he arrived) and then changed rooms saying they were done with the consult and this other room will allow me to try on sizers. So we wait - now it is 1.5 hours and i am livid. No one popped in to check on us, no one offered water, nothing. My husband goes out to ask how long it will be and their response was "Well we have no idea, but she has a list of 11 pages of questions, did you know that?" So we wait another 30 minutes, why the hell did I wait? I got dressed and we walked out. I said, "I need my drivers license copy and the documents I brought in. This is disrespectful and my time is money also. I see his time is only important to him. So i assume if I were to choose him and schedule an 8:00 AM surgery, I can be sure I will be sitting in a room by myself and no one coming to see how I am for 6 hours with no food or liquids. I can't spend 3-4 hours of my day for every consult to hope he will have time for me. This is not why I am opting to spend thousand's of dollars to be disrespected." I got would you like Kim the Pt Coordinator to call you and reschedule?

So after my long drawn out reason on why I am leaving, why would I want her to call me. To make things worse, she didn't even call to apologize.

SO Ladies, this is a very important decision - I suggest you find someone who respects you, your money, you investment and your time. Good luck to you all.
