Rhinoplasty, September 2, 2012, 9:27 am
Reviewer: reallyunhappy1

do not have rhinoplasty with Dr. Kornstein. My nose was larger and uneven. The cartilage he put in was higher on one side than the other. When I asked about revision, he refused saying it would destabilize my nose. He should not be doing rhinoplasty. I've seen a similar complaint on rip off report. check it out.

Dr Andrew Kornstein practices bait and switch, October 29, 2009, 11:19 pm
Reviewer: Albalyna

The facial fat grafting Dr Kornstein preformed on me was done under the promise that the results would last fro 5-7 years. When between the months of 6 and 8 most of the fat was already gone, and in a way I had not been prepared for: unevenly throughout the face, with areas being deflated and others still inflated..

The fat grafting had been suggested to me while I was consulting for a rhinoplasty and the two procedures were performed the same day. Needless to say that after months of consulting with Dr Kornstein who called himself a perfectionist, I was feeling in good hands. He even asked me to bring pictures of the exact nose I wanted and upon obliging he said he would create that nose on me.

Of course none of this ever happened. Instead I ended up with a nose that has a depression on one of the nostrils, a tip with unevenly removed cartiledge, leaving a bump on that side of the nose, and, a nose that is not straight when seen face-on.

The prefectionist will not go back and fix what he did not manage to do the first time, UNLESS he can suggest an entirely new procedure for you to have and thus billing you again. If that is not something the unsatisfied patient is looking for, he may go so far as to blame your GENES for the "poor healing" that lead to these results in the first place....
