I went to Dr. Riley because my long time dermatologist reccomended him and I trusted her opinion. I was 24 years old and had lots of stretch marks from my pregnancy and just a little bit of soft skin towards the bottom of my pooch.Everything except for maybe that damaged 1" by 5" section was very very firm.
Originally I just wanted laser surgery to tighten the skin( I realize know that laser surgery would have provided me with the results needed without ruining my body), but was told that the only way to fix that area was to give me a partial TT and went on to promote a full TT " because alot of women come back for a full TT for better results". I was concerned about such surgery and since it was 1999 and most people didn't have access to a wonderful website like MMH and didn't have much to refer to.
On the day of the surgery Dr. Riley didn't mark my body and this concerned me but I didn't ask questions. Dr. Riley left my torso a mess,my stomach was pulled strangely, pulled real tight down the middle but lots of access skin on my side. I was pulled sooo tight horizontally that it took me a whole year to be able to stand up straight. This was very confusing to me because I had very little excess skin. Dr. Riley also cut me so low on my hip on one side and on the other side cut me down onto my inner thigh . Also towards my back was pulled down and was place strangely and where it had once been firm and smooth was now hanging and lumpy. My belly button is off center and my Mons area hangs. Dr. Riley also removed some of the skin top of my Mons area and I really really don't understand why that was done. I suffer from severe nerve damage.I wonder if he let someone practice on me. I don't know how well he does other Surgeries but as for the Tummy Tucks he is lacking in ability and concern for his patients.
