The Eyes Have It!, March 29, 2012, 9:08 am
Reviewer: goodpatient2012

After several years of avoiding surgery by having Dr. Byrne do 'injectables', I decided to have him do my upper eyelids (blepharoplasty). What a difference! All I can tell you is I'm sorry I waited so long! The surgery itself was easy. I had NO discomfort, did not take ANY pain pills. I was amazed at the difference in my face in just a few days! I already had confidence in Dr. Byrne, as I had been going to him for years for Botox and Restylane, trying to avoid ( or at least put off) going under the knife. So this was my first foray into plastic surgery. He took lots of time to explain everything, and I had full confidence in him and his wonderful caring staff. The stitches came out in one week, and I had almost no bruising, just a little on the outer corners of my eyes. Really nothing to speak of. I was out in public literally 4 days after the surgery-evn with the stitches. It was amazing. I am so impressed with the outcome, I scheduled a full face-lift. Stay tuned for updates on that!
Dr. Byrne's training leads him to be a specialist in faces. He only operates from the neck up! Even with injectables, he has such a good sense of facial structure, so he never "overdid it". His surgery was equally great. I am so happy! Everyone tells me I look rested, as well as younger! Again, I wish I had done this 5 years ago. It's easy recovery and Dr. Byrne did everything just right. I'm excited to think about my facelift!

EXCELLENT!, July 10, 2011, 5:02 pm

A few years ago I had broken my nose and had really drug my feet with getting my nose checked out. As breathing became worse, I finally went ahead and scheduled by appointment, not knowing what to expect. I was diagnosed with a deviated septum. From the break, I had a large lump on my nose that had bothered me, so I went through with the rhinoplasty portion of the surgery in addition to the septoplasty surgery.

From the first appointment to the surgery, through all the follow up appointments, I have been nothing by impressed with the professionalism and kindness I have received from Dr. Byrne's office and entire staff. I have never experienced such a caring doctor who truly cares about his patients and their personal wants and concerns. Since I had never gone through a surgery like this, I had called the office with questions post surgery. There was always someone there to answer and was equally helpful. Everyone in Dr. Byrne's office is so personable and so easy to talk to.
I was very, very pleased with the results and would not change a thing. I have had friends who have had this surgery with other doctors that experience painful recovery periods and discouraging results. But with Dr. Byrne, I was extremely pleased with how smooth the healing period went. I had very minimal bruising and mild pain, and returned back to work 8 days after my surgery with no marks, bruising, or abnormal swelling, and I felt great.
I recommend Dr. Byrne to everyone. He is easily the best doctor I have ever went to, and is the best at what he does. Trust me, there is no reason to look any further at any other doctors-- Dr Byrne is who you should go to.

Septoplasty review - superb experience, October 27, 2010, 7:07 pm
Reviewer: Amarsh

Bottom line: Excellent, all accounts. I had surgery performed by Dr. P Byrne and assisted by Dr. Rodriguez-Bruno. I was diagnosed with a nasal obstruction, deviated nasal septum and nasal valve collapse acquired.
The purpose of the surgery was functional. The doctors performed septoplasty, repair of valve stenosis, turbinate reduction bilateral and open redux nasal septal. There was no rhinoplasty or grafts performed.
From initial diagnosis to post op follow up, it was hard not to be totally impressed by their thorough professionalism, thoughtfulness and consideration. If recovery time is anything to go by, excellent. swelling almost gone in 2 days, bleeding gone in 3 days and 5 days later, almost no bruising. What a superb experience.
