(10.00) Professional all the way..., November 7, 2010, 2:18 am Reviewer: dwaynemichaels I want to express my sincere thanks to Dr. Brosto and his team for their professional manner and expert medical treatment of my niece when she had a tummy tuck and liposuction in July, 2010. Marta was made comfortable from the beginnings of our e-mail discussions, to her arrival in Buenos Aires, and through the entire procedure. By following the recovery regiment suggested, she was quickly able to return to her normal life looking fantastic and with a renewed sense of self confidence. She is extremely happy with her appearance and is already planning a new swim suit for the summer to show off her smooth tummy and curvy waist. In particular, I want to thank Dr. Brosto's assistant, Laura for the extraordinary lengths she went to show how much she cared for Marta's wellbeing, for keeping in touch with us both at any hour, for always being there for any question or issue, and for truly making us feel like treasured clients. (10.00) A very happy girl, November 6, 2010, 5:04 pm Reviewer: Anita1 I would like to share my personal experience, and recommend Dr Brosto to anyone who is looking for a great rhinoplasty without the outrageous prices. I got my rhinoplasty in april this year. I found him online and exchanged few emails with his assistant Laura, she was very helpful and made me feel comfortable enough to fly to Argentina for my surgery.Everything was already arranged, someone was there to pick me up at the airport and Laura herself met with me and practically held my hand through this whole trip. The consultation went well, Dr Brosto was very comforting and answered all my questions and concerns. I must admit, i was very scared about the procedure, but the doctor and his staff made me feel safe and secure. I had my surgery done the very next day. Laura and the doc were there for me before and after the procedure. The recovery time was better than expected,there was no pain at all.And my nose looks great thanks to Dr Brosto and his staff. (9.95) fantastic and skillful doctor, highly recommend Dr. Brosto, November 6, 2010, 5:18 am Reviewer: happy_tummy Dr. Brosto and his team have been extremely helpful in answering all my questions prior to the surgery. Laura and I exchanged several emails in which she helped me get ready for the surgery and ensured that I was purchasing the right post-surgical garment. When I met Dr. Brosto for my consultation he was very sympathetic and kind and made me feel comfortable about the surgery. He walked me through the procedure and informed of everything that I should expect. On the day of the surgery Dr. Brosto visited me prior and Laura was able to sit with me until it was time to go in. The surgery went very smoothly and the recovery time also was as expected. I followed the advice I was given and each day my body felt better and better. Dr. Brosto was able to achieve exactly the results I had hoped. I was impressed with the overall staff and facilities at Dr. Brosto's office and clinic and I would recommend this highly knowledgeable and talented surgeon to anyone considering plastic surgery. (1.33) Please, Please, Please do not use Dr. Brosto!! Read this first!, September 7, 2010, 12:35 pm Reviewer: brcnikon I am writing this with the hope that I can warn people before they make a huge mistake. I used Dr. Brosto in April 2009 for rhinoplasty. My boyfriend and I flew to Argentina together to have cosmetic surgeries. When I first met with Dr. Brosto, I thought he was very nice and pleasant, but didn't quite seem to listen to what I was wanting for my nose. I wasn't all that unhappy with my old nose, just wanted the bulbous tip slimmed down. After explaining this to him, I decided I felt comfortable and he acted as if he understood my requests. Well, mine turned into a horror story to be honest. Surgery in the hospital was so scary, when I woke up from surgery, my bandage on my nose needed changing and I was bleeding all over my shirt. I was at the end of a corridor of the hospital where no one was at, and I actually mean no one. No nurses, no other patients, no foot traffic, nothing. There was no light bulb in my room, no lamps, so it was complete dark except for opening the blinds to the street lights. Laura, Dr. Brosto's assistant, was suppose to be at the hospital at 5:30 p.m. to pick me up and drive me back to my hotel. It was 6:30, she still wasn't there. After calling her several times on the cell phone we had rented, she finally sent a friend of hers to pick me up because she said she was unavailable. Yes, this is all true so far. Unfortunately. Well, skipping to the results of my surgery... When Dr. Brosto took the bandage off in the next week, I had a small bump on the left nostril, right at the tip. He said this would go away, it was normal. Laura checked in with me over the next four to five months after I was home. I kept telling her how misshaped my nose was. After five months, I sent her pictures showing how deformed the tip and bridge looked. Well, I never heard from her again after that. So, now what was considered a "garden" procedure by plastic surgeons is now going to cost me roughly $6000 US to correct. I've since visited with 3 different plastic surgeons in the U.S., all of which state that Dr. Brosto basically butchered my nose tip and bridge. It was aggressively overcorrected, to the point of collapse. I have a bossae, collapsed nostril and a scooped bridge at the same time! It is horrible. I have contacted Dr. Brosto and Placid Way and they both deny that I was ever a patient. Also, Dr. Brosto or his office staff would not respond to any of the U.S. surgeon's request for my medical records, so that they could see his medical notes, etc in order to correct all the mistakes he made. They asked that I pay them in cash, $2900 US, and obviously keep no records. I am going to try and set up a photo album on here so you can see my nose before and after Dr. Brosto butchered it. Please, please, please do not have your surgery here. In fact, I would not do it abroad at all, because if something goes wrong, you are stuck in another country with no leverage whatsoever. They can't be held accountable for when things like this happen. I hope this saves at least one person from going through what I did. See full review
