full-face co2 laser resurfacing, October 1, 2008, 5:47 pm
Reviewer: watchthemoon

Very happy with the results as well as the follow-up care.Dr. Berman has been doing this procedure since the 90's and does around 5 faces a week. No complications and my skin looks so much better.I was frightened after reading all the complaints on the MMH laser board but after communicating my fears to his patient supervisor, I calmed down and felt like I was taken good care of.

BERMAN Not So Hot & NOT a Plastic Surgeon, November 3, 2007, 7:50 pm
Reviewer: CheekboneGal

Dr. David Berman is only a dermatologist--not a PS. I saw him years ago for liposuction and agree with the writer who said the results were bumpy and UNEVEN. I did not care for his arrogant manner; I agree that he markets more than he follows through. Pass him up. BTW, the other David Berman (on Sterling) is the SAME person.

I had Sclerotherapy and IPL Treatments, November 4, 2006, 4:59 pm
Reviewer: Bugjune

(Sorry, there was no category for these two treatments, so I just plugged in "Laser Skin Resurfacing".) While Dr. Berman was very accessible for consultation, it turned out that "junior" staff did 2 out of 3 sclerotherapy treatments and 2 IPL treatments. The IPL I was VERY happy with! Even after two treatments, freckles vanished (no so for age spots, but they are tougher to get rid of). As for sclerotherapy: this is a JOKE. All that saline solution does is push the blood further (and further and further) down the capillary so it never vanishes. In fact, each treatment produced WORSE results, culminating in a big patch of necrosis on my shin cuz the solution missed the capillary and was injected under my skin. NOT GOOD. These treatments are like 10,000 pinpricks of torture. The end results are BAD. No offense to Dr. Berman, who is a derm doc (and probably should not be doing lipo!).
