(3.38) Breast Augmentation/Revision, November 18, 2009, 1:48 am Reviewer: fancyfree I had BA in Feb 2005 followed by corrective surgery for bottoming out on one side shortly afterwards. 12 mths later there was noticeable assymetry that was corrected but this wasn't done satisfactorily in my opinion and the assymetry remains. I have one breast higher than the other, one larger than the other, one nipple noticebly higher than the other, my breasts are a different shape, one breast sits low and is rounded on the bottom, the other sits high and is square and seems to tug when i raise my arm - i think this is due to the odd position of the incision but i'm no expert. Dr Cooper would more than likely offer to correct these issues were I to visit him with my concerns but after 3 separate attempts I have lost confidence and would probably visit another surgeon for correction. In fact, during a visit to a different surgeon on another matter I asked him to look at my breasts to appraise them and he agreed that one was higher than the other but said that on the whole, it wasn't done badly, the scarring was neat on one side but puckered on the other which could be corrected easily, he also suggested that the appearance I have is one favoured by many ladies and surgeons but is maybe not what i desired for myself. I have a very rounded look - like Posh Spice and I would agree with this statement. On the plus side, he has always been happy to see me, even years after initial surgery and there has not been any additional costs. See full review

(2.57) not happy at all, November 5, 2008, 7:30 am Reviewer: unsatisfied I went to Dr Cooper for a breast augmentation. I ended up with smaller breasts which changed shape and hurt me. He did not turn up for my post surgical appointment after me waiting over an hour for him I saw one of his nurses. She said the job was not ideal and that the implants were palpable. I returned to see him and he was rude. I asked for a copy of my file and he refused to give me one unless I put it in writing. I have not had any success in getting my money back as there is no dispute resolution scheme that makes these surgeons responsible. I am very upset as I did not take my top off with my partner until I had corrective surgery from another doctor. Dr Cooper refused mediation from the health review office. I have been trying to reason with him on the grounds I just want my money back because he did not provide an adequate service and his offer was to give me a breast lift which I did not need. This is proven with my new breast enhancement which is a great job. I am hoping that no-one else goes to him because I think most doctors would admit a mistake and either fix it with the correct remedy or give the money back that does not belong to them.
