Did you get any procedure(s) done by this doctor?   Yes
Date of your procedure(s):   December 27, 2007
Procedure(s) I had done:   None

- all women staff (make you feel very comfortable and excited)
- gives prescriptions a week before so you can have them ready (originally prescribes tylenol with codeine for pain but i requested and received percocet instead because my cousin tried the tylenol and said it didn't work nearly as well as percocet)
- also prescribes a valium the night before and the day of surgery (this is great! completely got rid of my nervousness, i slept really well the night before and wasn't nervous at all the day of, just really relaxed)
- she's an artist (painter), has lots of experience, and owns her own practice
- you pay one set price that includes all your appointments, surgery, anesthesia, post-op appointments with no surprise bills
- has her own operating room right in her office (very sterile and clean)
- uses a Registered Nurse Anesthetist that monitors you through the entire procedure
- uses twilight anesthesia instead of general anesthesia, the recovery is a LOT less worse for twilight, not as much nausea (i didn't have any) but you're still out cold
- if done through the nipple, the scarring is not visible after 6 months

- pretty expensive, I paid a little over $6000 for my breast augmentation (but I would rather pay more and get the best results)
- doesn't use dissolvable stitches, so you have to get them removed after 5 days, but it doesn't hurt
- sometimes hard to make an appointment, she only does surgeries on thursdays and fridays, and then all other appointments (such as removing stitches or checkups) are only mondays, tuesdays and wednesdays
