I had a bad experience with my fat grafting. I flow to his office for a 3 hour consultation to go over everything and to discuss exactly what I wanted: a very small waist & back with all of the fat transferred to my butt. Dr. R. replied that I would be his best patient so far and for me to gain 15 lbs so that he has enough fat to lipo. At my pre-op appointment, I reiterated to Dr. Roberts that I wanted a small waist and back with all of the fat transferred to my butt. I showed him a picture of a female model and explained that I would like her shape.

At my 2 month follow-up appointment, I spoke to Dr. R. about my concerns; a lopsided butt cheek and my stomach and back still appeared to be big. He responded that he does not see any problems and for me to lose some weight.

At my 7 month follow-up, I wrote a letter explaining to Dr. R. about my concerns again; a lopsided butt cheek, weightloss of 10 lbs and my stomach as well as back still appeared big. His patient coordinator said that since I was not a "big girl", Dr. R. went for evenness. Evenness was not what I agreed to. I agreed to contouring with all of the fat being lipod out. Dr. R. made this decision while I was sedated and did not inform me as to why. That is the reason why I gained 15 lbs so that he has more than enough fat.

I asked Dr. R. several times if he lipod all of the fat from my back, waist and inner thighs. He said yes every time. I was in SC for 14 days recovering and not once did Dr. R. mention this to me. I did not fly from NY to SC for evenness as I could of gotten the same results in NY for less than a quarter of the price of $ 22,800.00

His response was that I need to do the procedure again and their will be a charge. I informed the patient coordinator that I should not get charged for services that I paid for but were not rendered.

As I begin to lose more weight, the deformities of my back are becoming very clear. My lower back looks as if it has been smashed in with a brick. Not smoothed or contoured. He only lipod enough fat from my stomach which still leaves me with a big waist. I am only down two inches from my consultation measurements. Dr. R. has falsified his claims. Not once did he mention my body frame was a problem. I researched plastic surgeons for over one year, spoke with over three during that time, spoke with patients of those doctor regarding their aftercare and results before choosing him. Dr. R.'s website claims that he is the "master" along with pictures depicting his work. Their are several pictures on his site with the same body frame as myself with drastic changes.

I am left with a deformed body, no additional funds for a revision, and no apology from Dr. R. for his unsatisfactory work.
