I started researching Plastic Surgeons in September via the internet and I had met with one other prior to meeting with Dr Cech at the CT Surgical Center. The first surgeon I met with I wasn’t impressed with for a couple reasons, one being was that I felt like I was at the counter in McDonalds asking for a Value Meal! I went in to discuss getting a Brachioplasty and that Dr had tried to suggest (without me offering any interest or ideas whatsoever) also getting a Tummy Tuck. I have lost a significant amount of weight, and I am not sure just yet if I will need to go that route yet, I was there for one thing and one thing only – I did not need to be “sold”. I left that office, and the next week I met with Dr Cech.

When I met w/ Dr Cech, he came in, asked me about my needs and history and we came to the same agreement that getting a Brachioplasty would be the best choice for me right now, or months from now. Even if I hit goal weight and lose 15 more lbs, the arms would still have the extra skin. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable and all of my questions were answered. I felt good about that. It was exciting to me, to be looking into this and he wanted me to feel comfortable in MY decision. He offered his advice but wanted me to be comfortable. I left there with a much better feeling than the time I left the previous Dr! I did some checking in on a few things and when I had concerns I called the CT Surgical Center and they were addressed.

I decided to schedule, and all worked out well as far as that is concerned. Had my surgery in Hartford Hospital’s West Hartford Surgical Center (brand new and the care there is INCREDIBLE!). Dr Cech saw me before and did the permanent marker planning and his care was comforting and motivating. I felt so ready! After the surgery, I was recovering about a week before seeing him for my Post –Op. Visiting him in the office has been wonderful, I will be seeing him every 3 weeks and due to the fact that he likes to take his time and make sure his surgeries are “home runs”, he was careful not to cut too much skin in certain areas and I may need a quick touch up (of course it is included in my fees) in a few months waiting for my arms to even out and heal on their own first. He has been a pleasure to have as a Dr, and even though I didn’t research Dr’s for months – and he was the 2nd one I saw, I hit a “home run” in finding him. He is there for YOU, and you only….and he makes me feel that way every time I see him.
