I have been going to Dr Byrd's office for botox and injectable fillers for about 6 years now. Honestly, I think she is nice, friendly and the staff has been relatively pleasant when I sign in. Beyond that, I dont see much of the axillary staff except for signing in. Could be a little more chatty when running the credit card - it's a lot of money to drop usually. But that's fine. Office is busy and I am paying for her services, not a whole lot of conversation.

Other patients seem nice in there. Never saw any lady flip out like the other review indicated. If she was used in a commercial as a patient, so what. Maybe she was a patient as well as a business partner. Who cares?

Swelling of the facial filler procedure this time really was more than usual. The botox wears off more quickly than usual but Im aging. Thats why I go there.

People should read up on the procedures thoroughly and understand the aftercare and results and healing expectations before getting them.

I appreciated the two review forms they presented me with because it shows they care. The office was more interested in my feedback this time. Never was asked to fill out a form before that I can recall. I sensed something must have happened for these reviews to be put in place. Wasn't sure what and I dont much care so long as I am informed about the procedure and what to expect.

The lip filler injection site is pretty dang swollen today (the day after having it done). I expected this. Limited bruising around the laugh lines - but this time I used icepacks, so I believe it was cut down considerably.

No headaches. Small amount of pain where the injections were made at the filler sites. Nothing advil can't cover. Kept my head elevated as much as possible during sleep. Swelling worse in the morning. I expected that. I didnt drink alcohol the night of the procedure, either. Seems to make bruising worse if you have a drink.

Unless my face falls off, I dont have anything out of the ordinary to complain about. I asked for it - I got what I expected and a lot of people think I am younger than my true age. Have to attribute a lot of this to the treatments I got at Dr Byrds office.

Wish she had more time to chat. She is very busy but again, to be expected. This is not a social event. It is a doctor's office and par for the course.

I recommend her and have liked her since I met her. Her dog is really nice and I love that she allows her pet in the office. Common sense dictates not to play with a dog before getting procedure. I dont interact with the dog because its there for her and the staff's sake, not mine. It's nice to know animals are a healthy part of our lives and allowed to be thought of as having a positive effect on blood pressure and well being and not thought of as filthy beasts. I have seen far more people that think they smell good and look clean than her dog - and have putrid manners and smell of an overdose of Jean Nate.
