I knew I was making a mistake when I chose my surgeon based on proximity to my house, rather than his artistic skill and how we got along. Dr. Marshall said that he didn't think I needed the surgery, but would do it anyway. He did not discuss with me how he was going to do it or what he expected the outcome to look like. I don't even think he cared. On the day of the operation, after being hooked up to the IV he approaches my bed and goes "so what are we doing?"...I said, pinning my ears back. Under the knife I vaguely heard him utter the phrase "pass me some cartilage"...when I finally saw the result it was awful. My ears had literally been "stapled" to my head, and the main problem in the first place was completely ignored. The "staple" points, making my ears look like bowties, were also very asymmetrical, giving me two misshapen, un-natural looking ears that don't match. when I went into to see him 3 days later he just shrugs and goes "they're back!". I think this guy might be losing his eyesight. He is a bitter old man who has grown tired of his work and he will destory your life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! also he is the most expensive surgeon in New England. You get what you pay for I guess.
