I went to Dr Cooper for a breast augmentation.
I ended up with smaller breasts which changed shape and hurt me. He did not turn up for my post surgical appointment after me waiting over an hour for him I saw one of his nurses. She said the job was not ideal and that the implants were palpable. I returned to see him and he was rude. I asked for a copy of my file and he refused to give me one unless I put it in writing. I have not had any success in getting my money back as there is no dispute resolution scheme that makes these surgeons responsible. I am very upset as I did not take my top off with my partner until I had corrective surgery from another doctor. Dr Cooper refused mediation from the health review office. I have been trying to reason with him on the grounds I just want my money back because he did not provide an adequate service and his offer was to give me a breast lift which I did not need. This is proven with my new breast enhancement which is a great job. I am hoping that no-one else goes to him because I think most doctors would admit a mistake and either fix it with the correct remedy or give the money back that does not belong to them.
